Il Living Lab
Il TAGANT Living Lab marocchino mira a ripristinare e rafforzare la resilienza dell’ecosistema forestale dell’argan a Essaouira, cruciale per biodiversità, protezione del suolo e mezzi di sussistenza (olio di argan). L’area affronta minacce: deforestazione, sovrasfruttamento, siccità e pascolo intensivo.

Il LL TAGANT punta su due approcci: migliore gestione del pascolo e riforestazione innovativa (es. SWRT e biostimolanti). Workshop collaborativi con gli stakeholder hanno validato gli approcci, favorendo partecipazione e adozione delle tecnologie. Risultati promettenti: maggiore umidità del suolo e crescita dell’argan grazie alle tecnologie. Monitoraggio/valutazione con raccolta dati frequente, feedback degli stakeholder e coinvolgimento attivo delle donne (coinvolgimento raddoppiato). Efficienza grazie a sinergie con iniziative in corso, uso tempestivo delle risorse ed entusiasmo degli attori. Persistono sfide: difficoltà di comunicazione (analfabetismo locale) e resistenze iniziali. Il team risponde con interazione costante, formazione e pianificazione flessibile dei workshop. Nel complesso, il TAGANT LL dimostra il valore di approcci partecipativi e tecnologie innovative per il ripristino ecologico, offrendo soluzioni pratiche al degrado, opportunità economiche locali e maggiore resilienza socio-ecologica. Prossimi passi: coinvolgimento più profondo e strategie affinate per la gestione sostenibile delle foreste di argan.
