El Living Labb
El Living Lab egipcio se centra en mejorar la gestión sostenible del agua y del suelo en la costa noroccidental mediterránea de Egipto, muy dependiente de la agricultura de secano (olivo e higuera). Dada la vulnerabilidad a cambio climático y escasez de agua, integra soluciones microbianas innovadoras para fertilidad y resiliencia, probadas en campo y laboratorio.

Actividades clave: rehabilitar infraestructuras de cosecha de agua, p. ej. restauración de seis diques en Wadi El Agarma (recupero de ≈ 3,5 acres y disponibilidad de agua para olivar). Herramientas avanzadas de modelización con CIHEAM Bari ayudan a gestionar el agua y predecir la escorrentía, mejorando la eficiencia de recursos. Amplia implicación de actores (talleres, entrevistas, SWOT), que reveló retos: mantenimiento deficiente de infraestructuras, poca información de mercado y formación insuficiente en buenas prácticas. El Lab actúa con gobernanza mejorada, fortalecimiento de capacidades e integración en mercados. Logros: implicación efectiva de mujeres y jóvenes; oportunidades para negocios locales (especialmente procesado de alimentos y biofertilizantes); mayor resiliencia socioecológica con soluciones prácticas basadas en ciencia. El LL egipcio ejemplifica la innovación colaborativa y subraya la gestión integrada de recursos, la agricultura climáticamente inteligente y la participación de actores para el desarrollo sostenible y la resiliencia comunitaria en zonas áridas.

Primo Principio S.c.a.r.l.
Primo Principio is an Italian SME with 10 years of experience in industrial research and development of software solutions, data analytics, predictive modeling applied to the world of agronomy, plant phytopathology and simulation of complex biological phenomena. It has developed its own technological solution (www.wiforagri.com ) which it markets as Saas (Software as a Service).
It currently works in Italy, Slovenia and Greece and actively and continuously participates in regional, national and European research, development and innovation projects in its field.
