TAGANT LL is the LL implemented in Morocco. Research activities in this LL focus on studying the impact of pastoralism on the Argan forest by monitoring changes in the physiology and biochemistry of the argan tree and edaphic parameters in three sites subjected to different intensities of pastoralism. The work also focuses on monitoring the impact of Subsurface Water Retention Technology in combination with biostimulants on the performance of argan seedlings and soil physicochemical parameters in an argan reforestation site. A third part of the work involves carrying out the various activities of the TAGAN LL using the participatory approach with the different stakeholders to meet their needs regarding the argan ecosystem and to sustain this LL even after the end of the project.
